Over the course of the years, various attempts were made to introduce alternative mole traps, each undergoing thorough trials and evaluations. However, for diverse reasons, these alternatives failed to gain popularity. Their lack of success often stemmed from being either time-consuming to set up or construct, making them impractical for widespread use. Despite the well-intentioned efforts behind these innovations, the challenges they posed in terms of efficiency and ease of use ultimately hindered their adoption in the realm of mole trapping. In the following section, we showcase a selection of mole traps that fall into the "miscellaneous" category, embodying the diversity of attempted solutions that, for various reasons, did not become mainstream in the ongoing pursuit of effective mole control.
